Just wanted to remind everybody why we do these community involvement events like this. Obviously an even like this is not necessarily something where we are meeting peoples physical needs, that is not really our purpose at this particular kind of event. We do these kind of events for 2 reasons #1 It gets us out in the community and engaging people, letting them know that we are here and are willing to serve our community. By doing things just like this we now have a good reputation around the area as a church that is willing to help out, no questions asked. Our hope is that by serving others it will opens doors for conversations with people where eventually we can invite them to church or can share about what Jesus has done in our life. #2 We feel it is important to give our church opportunities to get involved in doing some type service ministry. Not everybody teaches, not everybody can sing or play music, but all of us can serve. We feel it is healthy for us to serve others. At CWC we want to be a church that serves our community with love.
