Christian Worship Center is a part of the Church of God denomination with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. The denomination was founded in 1896 as a part of the Holiness Revival Movement

In the spring of 1979 Christian Worship Center was started with a vision to reach Utah for Jesus Christ. Christian Worship Center began its days in a trailer located on 2nd Street in Ogden, Utah.

Eventually a building was constructed and a new Christian school was started.

In January 1997, Christian Worship Center received a new pastor, Dean and Christianna Sisk. The attendance was an average of 90—120 people.

In the spring of 2004 as God added to the church we purchased our new building at is current location and attendance is currently 150—200 people on a Sunday morning service
